Shape drawing - @blalansleven

Posted by Melanie Groenen on

I like creativity, but draw is not my favorite, although I can now say it better: was not my favorite. Before December 5, I got the Grennn painting board gift. Actually intended for other things than drawing, but with young children drawing is really something that happens a lot. At some point I immersed myself in shape drawing, something they do a lot in free school, but which is just as fun to do at home, even if you are wrong as a mother. Shape drawing is putting beautiful lines and curves on paper with your free hand, often first...

Snowman crafting- @Ellen_Heijnen

snowman crafts I didn't have much with glue worked with my toddler son. But when we did, we did it with a glue stick. In kindergarten, the children usually glue with a brush and paste† That seemed much more convenient for a child and I wanted to try it out with Steef. He is now no longer of the age (3 years and 3 months) to put it in his mouth, but if he did, it wouldn't be a problem because the glue from Grennn made entirely from foodstuffs.  Since it's winter, I wanted to craft something wintery. Waldorf School - @Jvanderwildt

Posted by Melanie Groenen on

I often find the age difference of 8 years between my two children very useful. Siem is 11, is in the sixth form (group 8) of the Waldorf school and is a bridge student in the making. The first teenage pranks become visible and he is increasingly busy with his place in the world and exploring where it reaches. Kaatje is 3, goes to an anthroposophical nursery 2 days a week and can't wait until she can finally go to school. She will also go to free school soon.  Both children call on me differently, need something different from me,...

Calculating with Grennn - @carolienplate

A while ago we received the figure cutters. We have played with it lately and tried what you can do with it. We were already fans of the play box in protrusions from Grennn but the Numbers are new to us. Of Numbers are sturdy and clearly legible. They easily press into the magical sand and also come off easily. The set includes the Numbers but also the signs to sums to be able to make. Namely + ÷ = and - characters. This gives even more possibilities. With the plugs you can play differently adapted to age and level....

Playbox with name - @manonwagenaer

Posted by Melanie Groenen on

We got the beautiful play box from Grennn to try out! Julie couldn't wait to play with it when we opened the fun package. The play box, the kinetic sand and the great plugs, what a party! We would like to let you know what we think of the play box find. About two years ago I saw a similar one for the first time play box on Instagram. I thought: what can children do with that? But when I got into it I was interested, because such a play box is perfect to use for example kinetic sand† Our...
